The Rector, prof. Stanislav Kmeť, received the newly appointed professors of the Technical University of Košice in the premises of the TUKE Rectorate. It is always a major event when he admits new members to the ranks of TUKE professors. It increases the reputation and credit of our university.

On 22 April 2021, from the hands of the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová, the appointment decrees in the fields of habilitation procedure and appointment procedure (HP and AP) were collected by:

• prof. Ing. Silvia Vilčeková, PhD., from the Faculty of Civil Engineering TUKE appointed in the field of HP and AP “Building Construction”,
• prof. Ing. Robert Grega, PhD., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE appointed in the field of HP and AP “Machine Parts and Mechanisms”,
• prof. Ing. Dušan Kudelas, PhD.,  from the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies TUKE appointed in the field of HP and AP “Acquisition and Processing of Earth Sources”,
• prof. Ing. Jozef Kuľka, PhD., from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE appointed in the field of HP and AP “Transport Machinery and Equipment ” at STU in Bratislava.

On 15 December 2020, the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, signed the appointment decrees of the professors. Among the newly appointed professors was also a member of our TUKE academic community:

prof. Ing. Martina Zeleňáková, PhD., from the Faculty of Civil Engineering TUKE appointed in the field of HP and AP “ Water Management and Water Structures” on the proposal of the Scientific Board of the Brno University of Technology.
