About the Faculty
The Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies at the Technical University of Košice, located in Prešov, has been a vital part of the university for over 30 years, offering high-quality and modern education across all three levels of higher education.
As the only technically-oriented university in the Prešov region, the faculty has established itself as a leader in education, science, and research. The teaching environment has evolved from traditional classroom settings to specialized, modern laboratories. The attractiveness of the programmes is constantly enhanced by guest lectures from industry professionals, student excursions to leading companies, and increased student mobility to manufacturing enterprises both in Slovakia and abroad.
Students at the faculty can benefit from sector-specific motivational scholarships, thanks to the high quality of the study programmes. Another strength of the faculty is the internationalization of education and international cooperation. Through international projects such as ERASMUS, the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic, and CEEPUS, students have opportunities to study abroad.
The faculty offers attractive study programmes that are closely linked to practical experience. As part of the SPICE project (Student Programme of Integrated Company Education), students can undertake at least a three-month internship, during which they complete their final thesis in collaboration with companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
