Superfast computers have only recently entered the scene, but in a short time, they have mastered scientific research and development. They have helped map the human brain, what more they can simulate complex physical phenomena. However, now they are entering a new era.

This topic dominated the April Conference 2022 "Let’s Enter the World of Supercomputers" at the Technical University of Košice. On April 26, 2022, High-Performance Computing (HPC) experts from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) presented the challenges and opportunities of HPC, its practical use, and further expectations for its future development.

The conference was opened by both the Rector of the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) Stanislav Kmeť and the General Manager of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Slovakia Santiago Aguado. Luboš Kolář, a product specialist from Hewlett Packard Enterprise Czech Republic, and Tomáš Karásek from the National Competence Center at HPC in the Czech Republic gave lectures on the subject matter.
