On 3 July 2019 Her Excellency Margit Bruck-Friedrich, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in the Slovak Republic, honoured TUKE by her visit.

The special guest was welcomed at the university grounds by prof. Stanislav Kmeť, the Rector of TUKE. The meeting was held in the spirit of presenting the potential of TUKE and the activities of the University Science Park TECHNICOM, and the results in the fields of education, science, research, and innovative technologies, which the university has achieved in the most recent period.

At the end of the meeting, joint activities to strengthen relations between TUKE and Austrian partner institutions were also presented.
