PICNIC at TUKE, an event organized for younger high school students from Košice and its surroundings. This unique event in the spring season offers participants the opportunity to spend a day on the campus of the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) with a rich programme.

More than a thousand high school students took part in PICNIC at TUKE. Presentations of individual faculties awaited them. In addition, students had the opportunity to visit laboratories and workplaces on the TUKE campus, which gave them an insight into the world of science and technology.

The event was enriched by great musical performances by students from the Timonova Conservatory in Košice, who created an atmosphere full of fun and joy. In addition to quality music, TUKE also prepared a rich programme of sports activities and attractions. Archery, floorball and volleyball were very well attended by all participants.

The participants themselves confirmed to us that the overall atmosphere of the event was very pleasant. One of the high school students even told us: “I don't regret coming to PICNIC. Besides the fact that we learned a lot about the possibilities of studying at TUKE, we really enjoyed a day full of fun and new experiences. PS: Thank you for the great sausages and cold coke.” These words show that the event really lived up to expectations and provided participants with the necessary information about studying at our university and having fun along the way.
