On 17th February 2023 TUKE was honoured by a visit of the new Ambassador of Hungary to the Slovak Republic, His Excellency Dr. Csaba Balogh, who has been in office since 25th January 2023. The reception was also attended by Consul General in Košice, Dr. Ágota Hetey, and Consul Gyöngyi Kanyár. 
The rare visit was welcomed at TUKE by the Rector, Prof. Stanislav Kmeť in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations and Mobility Prof. Radovan Hudák. The representatives of the TUKE management presented to the Ambassador the mission, activities and results of the university in the field of science, education and innovation, which the university has achieved in recently.
