Newly Appointed Professors from TUKE
University Highlights
On January 18, 2022, thirty-three new university professors took over the appointment decrees in the fields of habilitation proceedings and inauguration proceedings (HKaIK) from the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová. Among the newly appointed professors were also members of the academic community of the Technical University in Košice:
- Prof. Ing. Rajmund Mirdala, PhD., from the Faculty of Economics TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Finance, Banking and Investment”,
- Prof. Ing. Rudolf Andoga, PhD., from the Faculty of Aeronautics TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Transport”,
- Prof. Ing. Marek Laciak, PhD., from the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Automation”,
- Prof. Ing. Eva Kormaníková, PhD., from the Faculty of Civil Engineering TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Engineering structures and transport structures”,
- Prof. Ing. Andrea Rosová, PhD., from the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Logistics”,
- Prof. Ing. Kristína Machová, PhD., from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Economic informatics”,
- Prof. Ing. Peter Tauš, PhD., from the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies TUKE, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Acquisition and processing of land resources”,
- Prof. Ing. Juraj Ružbarský, PhD., from the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies TUKE based in Prešov, appointed in the field of HKaIK “Engineering technologies and materials” at SUA in Nitra.
During her speech, the President called on the newly appointed professors to have a cultivated dialogue with their students, to teach them tolerance, and to motivate them to civic engagement.
