Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, Tomáš Taraba, initiated a constructive academic dialogue with scientists and experts at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE) regarding efficient waste management. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the use of the latest technologies in the waste disposal and waste recovery, which negatively affect the environment and pose a risk to human health. Management of the Technical University of Košice on a Work Visit in Bahrain

The Management of the Technical University of Košice, under the lead of the Rector Prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD., participated in a work visit in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the delegation of the Authority of Spatial Planning and Construction of the Slovak Republic. Final assessment results of the research grant for young researchers at TUKE for the year 2023

University Highlights

The reports on the implementation of the research grant for young scientists at TUKE for the year 2023, which were sent to the Department of Science, Research and Doctoral Studies of TUKE, were responsibly assessed by Prof. Ing. Ivo Petráš, DrSc., the Chairman of the Commission for Science and Research of TUKE. The results of the final assessment were forwarded to the Rector of TUKE. (show more)

Assessment results of applications for the research grant to young researchers at TUKE for the year 2024

University Highlights

In response to the TUKE Rector's call on submission of applications for a research grant to young researchers and full-time doctoral students at TUKE under 30 years of age for the year 2024, a total of 42 applications for the grant were submitted to the Division of Science, Research and Doctoral Study Department by the deadline. The Commission for Science and Research at TUKE has carefully assessed all applications for the TUKE research grant and selected the following eleven projects to be funded within this call for the project period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
