Basic information about ULYSSEUS European University
The Ulysses European University was established in 2020 and its current members are, in addition to the Technical University of Košice:
- University of Seville(Spain, alliance coordinator)
- University of Genoa (Italy)
- University Côte d’Azur (Nice, France)
- MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® (Innsbruck, Austria)
- Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki, Finland)
- University of Münster (Germany)
- University of Montenegro (Podgorica, Montenegro)


The vision of Ulysseus University of Europe is to create by 2030 a European university of excellence and international attractiveness, open to the world, focused on the individual and fostering entrepreneurship. Our ambition is thus to contribute to the shaping of the European Higher Education and Research Area and thus to the future of Europe.
Ulysseus has a total of more than 225,000 students in 143 faculties across Europe. Ulysseus relies on the support of more than 24,000 employees, nearly 1,700 research groups and 152 national, regional and local associates and other strategic international partners. A network of strong partners The Ulysseus European University opens up a wide range of opportunities for students, teachers and researchers from partner universities for their education, mutual mobility and new cutting‑edge research projects.
One of the ambitions of the European Ulysseus University is to deepen the cooperation between partner universities, among other things in the field of joint provision of higher education. Ulysseus aims to develop a total of 8 joint engineering programmes and 8 joint doctoral programmes, which will constitute joint degree programmes. In each of these programmes, the teaching will take place at several partners and the diploma obtained will be validated by each educational partner.
The European University Ulysseus project in Slovakia is supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Youth of the Slovak Republic.
