Startup center

Since 2014, the Technical University of Košice, through the University Science Park TECHNICOM, has been intensively supporting innovative startups. The main goal of the TUKE Startup Center is to create a motivating environment that helps not only TUKE students and staff but also other residents of the region in developing their innovative ideas and potential. The annual innovation idea competition held here is a key element in developing the innovative potential of young entrepreneurs. 

 As part of the acceleration program, participants acquire key skills necessary for success in business. A significant element of the program is also consultations with experienced mentors who guide the development of innovative projects. Networking events and motivational lectures from successful startups provide ample opportunities for forming partnerships and mutual collaborations. 

 After successfully completing the acceleration program, startups have the opportunity to continue in the TUKE Incubator, where they receive further support for successful growth and scaling of their business in national and international markets. This gradual approach not only supports the individual development of startups but also contributes to the overall innovation potential of the region and Slovakia.
