Visit of the delegation of the Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic Matúš Šutaj Estok together with representatives of the Ministry of Education to TUKE

On 16.4.2025, the Rector of TUKE Peter Mésároš received a delegation of the Minister of the Interior of the Slovak Republic Matúš Šutaj Estok together with representatives of the Ministry of Education – State Secretaries of MŠVVaM SR Róbert Zsembera and Ján Hrinko.
During the meeting of the delegation with the academic community of TUKE, the following topics were communicated:
- increasing security on the university campus with emphasis on the protection of soft targets
- readiness of TUKE in the areas of soft targets and reducing the risk of threats on the premises of the university
- innovative solutions based on HPC and cybersecurity at TUKE
- possibilities of developing further cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic and TUKE
The programme at TUKE also included a simulated intervention of the fire and rescue unit of the Fire and Rescue Corps.
