TUKE has achieved significant success on the international academic research scene. It is the only Slovak university to be ranked in the world‑renowned Shanghai ranking of academic institutions in the field of Mining & Mineral Engineering. In this field, it achieved a place in the elite group of 76th‑100th place, which is an extraordinary achievement for TUKE and especially for the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies (FBERG), which operates in the evaluated field.
