Rector of Technical University of Košice, Prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD., participated in the New Year meeting with the Mayor of Košice, Ing. Jaroslav Polaček, at the Historical Old Town Hall on Hlavná street in Košice. The purpose of the meeting, organised with the participation of the rectors of all four universities in Košice, was to strengthen cooperation between the city authorities and educational institutions. During the meeting, the mayor emphasised the significance of Košice as an attractive agglomeration and stated that traditional universities form an important and integral pillar of this dynamically growing urban area.
