The management of TUKE, represented by the Rector Peter Mésároš, welcomed at TUKE a delegation of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Marek Eštok, the State Secretary of Prime Minister’s Office of Sweden Christian Danielsson and the Ambassador of Sweden Annika Markovic. 

The delegation also included Marek Murin, the Director of the Cabinet of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Martina Balunová, the Director of the Department of General, Institutional and Personnel Affairs of the EU, Xénia Malá from the Cabinet of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and Gustaf Lindren, the Advisor to the State Secretary Christian Danielsson.

In the programme, the Rector Peter Mésároš, informed the delegation about the Technical University of Košice. Furthermore, the delegation was presented with the successful participation of TUKE in the ULYSSEUS European University and general information was provided about the startup NORDIC.IO, which is part of the Startup Centre at TUKE USP Technicom.

Afterwards, the delegation met with our students at the TUKE University Library, where a discussion on the 20th anniversary of Slovakia's entry into the European Union was held.
