[🇭🇰] On September 17, 2025, TUKE hosted the Hong Kong Innovation Forum. In his speech, TUKE Rector Peter Mésároš welcomed the participants of the event as well as distinguished guests, including Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Resilience and Knowledge Economy Peter Kmec, as well as guests from the Hong Kong delegation.

The aim of the Hong Kong Innovation Forum was to further develop cooperation between Slovak and Hong Kong partners in both the academic and private spheres. Opportunities for cooperation between Slovak institutions (TUKE, UPJŠ, SARIO, NITC) and Hong Kong partners (ASTRI, HKSTP, HKPC, HK ETO) were presented. As part of this event, a memorandum was signed between the Slovak NITC and the Hong Kong HKPC. Participants of the Hong Kong Innovation Forum were presented with the research activities of selected TUKE faculties, as well as the new Perún supercomputer, which will be launched at TUKE in November 2025.
