The Technical University of Košice realized an exceptional event – Earth Day at TUKE on Monday, 22nd April 2024. This year, the event was attended by a number of employees and students who joined together in their effort to improve our university environment and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Despite the inclement weather, we were not discouraged from our goal. We started to work together and the result turned into a great success. We prepared several activities in cooperation with the municipal greenery authority – Správa mestskej zelene, which not only contributed to a greener and more pleasant appearance of our campus, but also highlighted the importance of sustainability and environmental protection.

The fact that TUKE employees and students have participated in Earth Day clearly demonstrates our commitment to environmental protection. We believe that such activities not only bring our community together, but also move our environment towards a better and more sustainable future.
