On 4 October 2024, the Technical University of Košice held a ceremony of conferring the honorary title of Doctor honoris causa Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.mont. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Peter Moser, Rector of the Montan Universität Leoben in Austria, for his outstanding contribution to the development in the field of science, research and education.
