Memorandum of Understanding between TUKE and IOM

Rector of TUKE Peter Mésároš signed on 2.10.2024 Memorandum of Understanding between TUKE and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), which was represented by the Chief of Mission IOM in Slovakia Valon Halimi.

Sports events organized by the OAS

The Department of Academic Sport of TUKE prepares a number of sporting events for all students and employees of TUKE to participate in on a regular basis each year. Among the first events are a small football tournament for the champion of TUKE and an international volleyball match between foreign students.

TUKE will build a new Slovak supercomputer

As a beneficiary of the Recovery and Resilience Support, TUKE will build a new supercomputer, named Perún, and launch the supercomputer for the national supercomputing centre with a planned capacity of up to 13 PFLOPS, with the ambition to be ranked in the world's top ten energy efficient supercomputers in the “Green 500” ranking.
