On Friday, May 15, 2026, a breakfast event with the Ulysseus Innovation Hub at TUKE was held at the UVP TECHNICOM TUKE. The meeting focused on groups of researchers who, within the Ulysseus alliance, are establishing effective research partnerships among eight partner universities.
The breakfast was introduced by the new IHTUKE manager, Miroslav Janák. The main part of the program was the presentation of the currently open 2nd call of the Ulysseus Seed Funding Program for Joint R&I Groups, thanks to which groups can grow by adding new members and thus expand their research agenda or change their objectives.
Colleagues from IHTUKE presented the GrantAlf application—designed for semantic search of project calls and relevant grant programs—to the thirty attendees. Together with the UlySAGE application (developed by IHTUKE), the application creates a digital ecosystem that supports the networking of researchers, the identification of research synergies, the formation of international project teams within the alliance, and their involvement in international research programs.
