Insignia
Insignia are an inseparable part of the traditions of the Technical University of Košice. Ever since the Middle Ages, insignia have been the sovereign emblem of universities. Initially, they reflected the exceptional status of universities in medieval society, in modern times the importance of insignia has been reduced to representative functions. The oldest University's insignia include seal, scepter and medal hung on a chain.
