The reports on the implementation of the research grant for young scientists at TUKE for the year 2023, which were sent to the Department of Science, Research and Doctoral Studies of TUKE, were responsibly assessed by Prof. Ing. Ivo Petráš, DrSc., the Chairman of the Commission for Science and Research of TUKE. In response to the TUKE Rector's call on submission of applications for a research grant to young researchers and full-time doctoral students at TUKE under 30 years of age for the year 2024, a total of 42 applications for the grant were submitted to the Division of Science, Research and Doctoral Study Department by the deadline. The Commission for Science and Research at TUKE has carefully assessed all applications for the TUKE research grant and selected the following eleven projects to be funded within this call for the project period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. Prof. Ing. Peter Mésároš, PhD. was inaugurated as Rector of Technical University in Košice on 15th November 2023. Inauguration of the rector and the appointment of the university management members, who had already been in their duties on 17th August 2023, was held at the premises of Aula Maxima of TUKE.
