At a press conference on Friday, 16 December 2022 in Brussels, the Rectors of the Ulysseus partner universities introduced two new members: the University of Münster (Germany) and the University of Montenegro (Montenegro). The press conference was part of a one-day event (Open Event) organised under the title "Contribution of the European Universities Initiative to the European University Strategy, the new European Innovation Agenda and innovation-driven regional transformation", which Ulysseus has prepared to present its innovation ecosystem and vision for the way forward. On 20thSeptember 2022, world-renowned scientists, the engineer Prof. YangQuan Chen and the neuroscientist Prof. Michel Salzet received the International Prize of the Slovak Academy of Sciences from the President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) Prof. Pavel Šajgalík at a ceremonial event in the Primate's Palace in Bratislava. The prize is awarded by the SAS Scientific Council once a year, on the occasion of Slovakia Constitution Day, and is a special expression of recognition for excellent scientific work related to Slovakia.
