In January 2021, the second satellite constructed in Slovakia, GRBAlpha, started its journey, the goal of which is the Earth's orbit. Its first stage was the air transfer to Moscow where it was picked up by the company GK Launch Services, which provides the launch of the satellite into space. (show more)

The Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic has announced "Science and Technology Week in Slovakia 2020". During this week, a competition for the best doctoral thesis took place at the Technical University of Košice, where full-time doctoral students from individual TUKE faculties presented their work in the form of an online presentation to the TUKE Committee for Science and Research. The presentations were evaluated in terms of (scientific) content, as well as in terms of the quality of the presentation design. (show more)
