The eighteenth year of the “Student Personality of Slovakia” annual competition, which took place in Bratislava on 19th December 2022, has its laureates for the academic year 2021/2022. The Student Personality of Slovakia is a national competition for 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree of university study. This year, the expert jury selected successful students and young scientists from 91 nominations in thirteen categories.

The absolute winner and therefore the TOP Student Personality of Slovakia, for the academic year 2021/2022 is Ing. Matej Gazda – a PhD student from the TUKE Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, in the category of Medical Sciences.

The award in the category of Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering & Energetics went to Ing. Gabriel Stolárik – a PhD student from the TUKE Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies, based in Prešov.

The event is organised under the auspices of H.E. President Zuzana Čaputová and under the professional guarantee of the Slovak Rectors’ Conference and the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
