On November 16, 2021, thirty new university professors took over the decrees of appointment in the fields of habilitation and inauguration proceedings from the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová. Among the newly appointed was also a member of the academic community of the Technical University of Košice:
prof. RNDr. Jana Tóthová, PhD., from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics TUKE, appointed in the field of “physical engineering”
During her speech, the President stated that the newly appointed professors are gaining a new academic degree, and the title of professor also contains the thesis that each of its holders is capable of scientific performance of great value.
“Our society urgently needs such performance if we are to keep pace with cooperation and competition with the international environment.”
