On October 7, 2021, we welcomed the Rector of the long-term partner Óbuda University, Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, on the premises of the Technical University of Košice. In an informal discussion with the Rector of TUKE – Dr. h. c. prof. h. c. prof. Ing. Stanislav Kmeť, DrSc, and Vice-Rectors of TUKE – prof. Ing. Radovan Hudák, PhD. and prof. Ing.Jaroslav Poruban, PhD., they consulted project educational and research plans. They debated joint study programs, raised the issue of international rankings and improving the position of V4 region universities in them, touched on the integration of higher education institutions, their funding and attractiveness for foreign lecturers and students, as well as finding ways to motivate to study and later apply in our cities. During his working visit, our special guest also visited and discussed future cooperation with the management of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics and Faculty of Aeronautics.
