TUKE starts cooperation with Tachyum

On Friday, November 5, 2021, the Technical University of Košice signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Slovak-American company Tachyum s.r.o. TUKE was represented by the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Technology Transfer prof. Anton Čižmár and the director of the University Science Park TECHNICOM doc. František Jakab and the company Tachyum was represented by Ing. Radoslav Danilák, who is also a University graduate.

The mutual ambition of both parties is to address an open platform in the field of supercomputers, scientific research activities in the field of Big Data and artificial intelligence, which is primarily based on supporting the creation and improvement of innovation in the affected sectors and participation with other leaders in these fields.

A great opportunity is the support of the young scientific generation by creating jointly acquired scientific knowledge in the field of supercomputers (HPC), Big Data and artificial intelligence (AI) and the opportunity to work with the latest technologies in the world.

For several years now, Tachyum has been bringing changes to the AI market, high-performance computing and public and private data centers with the world's first universal processor, Prodigy, which delivers top performance at the lowest cost and power consumption for special and universal computing.
