On 14 and 15 September 2021, the gates of the 3rd year of the largest technological conference in Slovakia and the international innovation and technological fair SLOVAKIATECH FORUM – EXPO KOŠICE 2021 were opened in the Kulturpark in Košice.

The main topic of the SlovakiaTech 2021 event was the motto: Humanity meets Technology, Technology meets Humanity, Capital meets Ideas.

Our experts spoke in the panel discussions, and in the EXPO section, one of the dominant exhibition spaces was full of innovative ideas from our students and startup teams. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Richard Sulík, accompanied by the Rector and Mayor of Košice, Jaroslav Polaček, also viewed the TUKE exhibition with interest. Within the program of the event, Raw Materials Days were also held under the auspices of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of TUKE. They were opened on the first day of the event by the Rector prof. Stanislav Kmeť.

The event was a unique opportunity for a meeting of Slovak and foreign experts in the field of science, research, innovation, industrial technology, transport, power engineering, environment, eating, cyber security and education. At the same time, it was a unique opportunity to present the scientific and innovative potential of universities and companies.
