Working Visit of the Management of the University of Hradec Králové
On 18-19 November 2019, the first working visit from the University of Hradec Králové (UHK) at TUKE took place. The UHK management members - Rector prof. Ing. Kamil Kuča, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for International Affairs PhDr. Zdeněk Beran, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Creative Activities Mgr. Leona Stašová, Ph.D., and Head of Rector´s Office Mgr. Soňa Došková, - were welcomed in Košice and later also at the university by doc. Ing. Radovan Hudák, PhD., the Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations and Mobility of TUKE. On 18 November, the delegation took a tour of the workplaces and laboratories at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
On 19 November 2019, after the opening speech of Rector Dr.h.c. prof. Ing. Stanislav Kmeť, CSc., a university contract was signed between the partners, and a bilateral contract under the Erasmus+ programme was also signed.
Participating faculties of this co-operation (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics) presented their most significant laboratories and workplaces as part of a one-hour tour of the campus. At the end of the meeting, Rector of UHK introduced his university during a professional presentation at the TUKE Congress Centre. After the presentation, he answered the questions of the present Vice-Rectors, Deans, and Vice-Deans of chosen faculties.
