TUKE strengthens the partnership with Rzeszow University of Technology

On January 17, 2018, representatives of Rzeszow University of Technology in Poland (dr. hab. Inž. Grzegorz Maslowski, prof. PRz – Vice-Rector for Education, dr. hab. Inž. Andrzej Trytek, PRz – Vice-Dean for Research and mgr. Ewa Kaczan-Winiarska – officer of the Department of International Cooperation) visited our university.

At the beginning of the visit, special guests were welcomed by prof. Ing. Stanislav Kmeť, CSc., the Rector of TUKE, with the participation of prof. Vladimír Modrák , the Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Iveta Vasková, the Dean of Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling, prof. Jozef Zajac, the Dean of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies, and Ing. Katarína Valentová, the officer of the Division for International Relations.

The purpose of the visit was to get mutually acquainted with the potential of both universities and cooperation not only in the field of education, exchange of students and teachers, but also in research, development and innovations.

The delegation from Poland, accompanied by prof. Perduková, participated in a tour of premises of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics.
