On May 4, 2022, the Technical University of Košice, as a part of celebrations of its 70th anniversary, presented itself within events of the Košice City Days 2022. On this occasion, TUKE prepared a programme of music, entertainment, and education for the general public at the Lower Gate in Košice Main Street. The visitors were presented with the study and research activities at the TUKE Faculties. The entertainment was provided by musical performances of the Timonova Conservatory, Veronika Rabada, and Marián Čekovský, as well as various attractions including faculty popcorn and candy floss. At the end of the event, dancers from the folklore ensemble Borievka performed. The event moderator was Richard Herrgott.
