The choir was conducted by Marián Vach from 1985 to 1987 and by Jan Drietomský from 1988 to 1989. An important period in the history of the choir lasting from 1989 to 1996 is associated with the conductor Eva Zacharová. During this period, the choir also closely co-operated with conductors Marián Vach and Lubomír Mátl. From 1996 to 2009, the choir was conducted by Karol Petróczi. Tatiana Švajková-Kanišáková is the current choir conductor. Collegium Technicum is one of the top representatives of the choral movement in Slovakia. It takes the highest prizes at competitions and festivals at home and abroad.
