Tuition fee for part-time bachelor study is set at €570 per academic year. Tuition fee for part-time engineer study is set at €620 per academic year.
About the faculty
For over twenty years the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Košice has been providing education in the study programs of Finance, Banking and Investment and Public Administration and Regional Development. Its graduates contribute to the professionalization of the financial and banking sector as well as public administration in Slovakia.
The objective of the faculty is to develop knowledge and provide high quality and professional education in the field of economic sciences, contribute to the development of society and the formation of the regional economy by providing research and consulting activities, further training and services for local and regional community. The Faculty of Economics is trying to be a popular faculty that provides education in the spirit of democracy and humanism, leads students to tolerance and to the skills of critical and creative thinking, creates the conditions for freedom of scientific research and dissemination of knowledge, and systematically engages in international cooperation.
The faculty currently provides education to more than 1000 students in full-time and part-time. The studies are fully accredited in all three levels of programs offered. After completing the three-year bachelor’s degree studies the students have the opportunity to obtain a bachelor’s degree (Bc.) or by completing the two-year master’s studies the students can obtain the Master’s degree (Ing.). At the third level of studies the faculty provides postgraduate degree in Finance, Spatial and Regional Economics. The Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Kosice is known as a progressive faculty which puts emphasis on quality education, friendly environment with a wide range of mobility for students and a focus on foreign languages.
