Results of the assessment of applications for a research grant for TUKE young research staff for 2022

University Highlights

Based on the call of the Rector of TUKE for the submission of applications for a research grant for young research staff and full-time doctoral students at TUKE under 30 years of age for 2022, 28 grant applications were delivered to the Science, Research and Doctoral Study Department within the set deadline. The TUKE Science and Research Commission has responsibly assessed all TUKE research grant applications and has selected the following 7 projects to be funded in this call for a project period from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022:

01/TUKE/2022: High-entropy alloys for hydrogen storage, responsible investigator: Ing. Dagmara Varcholová, Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling TUKE

02/TUKE/2022: UAV Carbon Cub – a flying platform for research and development of intelligent avionics, responsible investigator: Ing. Šimon Karaffa, Faculty of Aeronautics TUKE

03/TUKE/2022: Research and implementation of a low-pressure hydrogen storage system in a three-track vehicle, responsible investigator: Ing. Lukáš Tóth, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE

04/TUKE/2022: Redox properties of metal nanoobjects and the impact of their size on their electrochemical response in simulated biomedical environments, responsible investigator: Ing. Peter Slovenský, PhD., Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling TUKE

05/TUKE/2022: Physical justification of the creation of elements of parasitic architecture “What if the architecture was able to design, grow and develop itself?”, responsible investigator: Ing. Tomáš Baroš, Faculty of Civil Engineering TUKE

06/TUKE/2022: Development of biodegradable zinc alloys for biomedical applications, responsible investigator: Ing. Wanda Miženková, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE

07/TUKE/2022: AAIE – Acceleration of artificial intelligence at the edge of the network, responsible investigator: Ing. Alexander Brecko, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics TUKE
