TUKE Students Helped the National Project inovujme.sk with Their Ideas

Events

The innovation workshop was part of the international conference SlovakiaTech, which took place on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in the premises of the Kulturpark in Košice. Lecturers of the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency introduced workshop participants to innovation concepts on examples of successful Slovak entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of creative thinking, and presented innovative ways of financing their own projects. After games, a test and discussions, students acquired the technique of creative thinking. In the second part, they solved an assignment from practice – how to get an innovation workshop of the national project inovujme.sk among Slovak companies. Students came up with dozens of excellent ideas, such as running an advertising campaign, beautifying the training area, using innovative teaching aids and technology in teaching, refreshments, or an informal approach by trainers. Subsequently, they presented the results of their group work to Dušan Saksa, the Director of the national project inovujme.sk, who appreciated their ideas and promised that some of them will be incorporated through the project into common practice.

One of the objectives of the workshop of the national project Increasing the Innovative Performance of the Slovak Economy (ZIVSE) – inovujme.sk is to teach secondary and university students innovative and creative thinking, to show them how to come up with an idea, start their business and present it visually and verbally. The National Project is implemented by the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund in the Operational Programme Research and Innovation.
