Winners of the fourteenth annual competition “Student Personality of Slovakia” for the academic year 2017/2018 were announced. The competition is organized under the auspices of the President of the SR, Mr Andrej Kiska, and annually under the professional guarantee of the Slovak Rectors´ Conference and the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
The main organizer of the project was the Junior Chamber International - Slovakia, a partner organization of the Junior Chamber International, one of the largest organizations in the world associating young leaders in individual countries. The world organization involves 200,000 members from 115 countries around the world. JCI-Slovakia organizes various activities to support talented students at universities in Slovakia as well as young entrepreneurs in Slovakia.
This year, the jury selected successful students and young scientists from 91 nominations in twelve categories. The Student Personality of Slovakia is a national competition for students at all levels of higher education.
Bc. Matúš Harčár, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering TUKE, received the prestigious award in the category of “Construction, architecture”.
